And on the basis of 2,2''- diethoxycarbonyl-3,3''-diformyl-bis(indol-5-yl)methane  ¿ bisisonicotinoylhydrazone. The following reactions  were studied: piperazinomethylation reaction of 2,2''- diethoxycarbonyl-bis(indol-5-yl)methane, alkylation  reactions of phenylpiperazine and KCN with 2,2''- diethoxycarbonyl-3,3''-bisdimethylaminomethyl- bis(indol-5-yl)methane, alkaline hydrolysis and acid  alcoholysis reactions of 2,2''-diethoxycarbonyl-3,3''- di(cyanomethyl)- bis(indol-5-yl)methane. The  corresponding compounds were obtained. The  condensation reactions of 2,2''-diethoxycarbonyl-3,3''- diformyl- bis(indol-5-yl)methane with  isonicotinoylhydrazide, aniline and its mono- nitroderivatives.
