In an attempt for the enhancement of biological activity incorporation of 1,3,4-oxadiazoles was made with furan moiety. The main objective was to synthesize various 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-oxadiazoles, which were characterized by  different spectroscopic techniques (IR,NMR,MASS).
