Re-vaccination of adults is an important issue that relies on the involvement of general practitioners. This qualitative study required 4 focus groups in which 14 general practitioners participated. Data analysis was performed using N Vivo 8 software. Among the obstacles to tetanus vaccination coverage, we find limited consultation time to discuss vaccination, a lack of communication from the public authorities, and the absence of information for patients by health professionals. Patients are not aware of the importance of booster vaccination and have a false image of tetanus.
