Women''s risk of  contracting HIV is interlinked  with lack of access  to information, services and commodities. Focusing on  women''s vulnerability is the key to fight the  epidemic of HIV.  Women have poor access to  information and education, which is critical in the  context of HIV. Further, stigma also affects women  more intensely than men, preventing them from  accessing treatment, information and prevention  services .
