Eight school-age children were purposively selected to be involved in this descriptive phenomenological study in an adopted community. A three-part instrument specifically robotfoto, semi-structured interview and doodling was used in gathering data. From the doodles, two concepts of a nurse transpired the Nurturing and the Natured Nurse. Field texts were phenomenologically reduced via a repertory grid. Analyses of the sharings and feelings of the respondents helped surface The 3 W¿s which are the Wall (appearance), the Will (communication) and the Whole (attitude). Five interesting subthemes were also identified namely: teaching, valuing, distracting, dreaming and linking.
