His mother opened the door and saw before her a guerrilla with huge beard and a gun in his hand. The guerilla told the author to follow him. Six hours later, they met up with the rebels brother-in-arms, captain Ypsilntis. The latter put his pistol against the authors head and ordered him to follow him. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe authors childhood dream was to go to America. In 1956, that dream came true; he left for the United States. Today, he is a resident of Delray Beach, Florida, where he has been living with his beloved wife, Darlene, for 39 years. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe is 90 years old and still going strong.
