HRM, as a reaction to these changes in\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e¿Personnel Management¿, attempts to find various methods of resolution for\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epractice. If ¿Personnel Management¿, ¿HRM¿ or ¿SHRM¿, they all have a common\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003egoal: obtaining the achievement potential of all organisational members best as\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epossible. But the ¿HRM¿ approach goes beyond the traditional approach of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e¿Personnel Management¿, having a broader focus on the necessary\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003einterdependence of all components with each other as well as the connection to\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eother compartments of companies, whose success is seen in straight\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003econnection with personnel measures.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThereby Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) can be seen as\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eextension of HRM, and following the definition of Boxall (1996) it deals with the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003erelationship between the strategic management of an organisation and the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emanagement of its human resources within this strategic context.
