This realization leads me to introduce Mini-Sagas into a language learning\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eenvironment like schools for example. The following paper deals with Mini-Sagas as a new\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand innovative genre for writers and readers. Up till today not many attempts have been\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emade to design tasks which involve Mini-Sagas as a text-stimulus. Outside of the annual\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecompetitions which take place in the UK, they seem to have been forgotten in schools\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eoutside Great Britain.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFirstly, the primary aim of this paper will be to explore the possibilities connected to Mini-\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSagas according to their learning and teaching potential with the main focus on improving\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethe learners¿ reading skills. The tasks were designed by me, based on several teaching\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ehandbooks concerning teaching English as a foreign language. As I was given the opportunity\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eto try out the tasks in practice and to improve my original approach by including helpful\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esuggestions concerning the strengths and weaknesses of the tasks, the paper should provide\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethe reader with an evaluation and discussion of the mentioned tasks. Furthermore, it should\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edescribe the usage of Mini-Sagas in the language classroom according to their advantages\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand how the students can benefit concerning reading as well as integrated skills.
