In other words, Level 1 mining activities must comply with the basic environmental management standards; Level 2 mining activities the Mining Law (Law 14\/2002, of June 26), Article 37, number 1 and the Environmental Regulation for Mining Activities (Decree 26\/2004, of August 20), Article 1, numbers 1, 2 and 3.
