The developing\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eworld needs a multi disciplinary approach and ideas so as to come\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eout of the economic backward situation. Micheal, P. (2003: 9)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edescribes that because of heterogeneity of the developing world, and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethe complexity of the development process, development economics\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emust be eclectic, attempting to combine relevant concepts and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003etheories from traditional economics analysis along with new models\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand broader multi disciplinary approaches from historical and co\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003etemporally development experience of Africa, Asia, and Latin\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAmerica. Debraj Ray (2007) puts it that development economics\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003estudies economics of the developing world and has made excellent use of economic theory, econometrics, anthropology, sociology,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epolitical science, biology and demography. It needs a lot more\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edimensional approach to understand it.
