The experimental group followed a weekly physical training program for 8 weeks for 40 min every third day on alternate days. For each participant in both groups, a simple reaction time test (RTs) was performed at baseline and after the training period. The results showed that the chosen physical training program resulted in a significant improvement in TRs with a significant reduction in the TM of the GE compared to the GC. However, the average performance of the groups did not show a significant difference before and after the training period.

https://shop.autorenwelt.de/en/products/contribution-of-physical-training-for-people-with-intellectual-disabilities-von-ines-kammoun
