Aus gefundenem und gesammeltem Material – von Pflanzenscans bis hin zu Architekturfotografien – lässt die Künstlerin zarte Formen tanzender, sich windender, innehaltender Bildelemente entstehen. Diese ordnet sie in variierenden (Bild-)Räumen an, bestehend aus Bildträgern wie Papier, roher Baumwolle oder der reinen Wand. Ihre Collagearbeiten changieren zwischen organisch und architektonisch, zwischen realen und imaginativen Räumen und eröffnen darüber einen Assoziationsraum, ähnlich wie Wolkengebilde, in denen wir immer wieder neue Formen entdecken können. Mit Projektionen und farbigen Teppichen überlagert Dannert die vorhandene Architektur und verfremdet das Raumerlebnis: Die optische Illusion der Collage erweitert sich ins Räumliche.\u003c\/p\u003e\n                                \n                \u003cp\u003e\n                                        Die zweite Monografie der Künstlerin verbindet Arbeiten, die seit 2016 entstanden, mit neuen Serien von Grafitmalereien, welche ihre Collagetechnik und ihre raumgreifende Gestik zusammenführen. Die Kunsthistorikerin Vanessa Joan Müller beleuchtet in ihrem Essay \n                    \n                    \u003ci\u003eSchnitte im Raum \u003c\/i\u003e\n                                        die charakteristischen Methoden sowie paradigmatischen Arbeiten der Künstlerin. Herdecke, 1979; lives and works in Cologne) formal idiom is based on the creative technique of the collage. Working with found and collected materials—from scans of plants to photographs of architecture—the artist creates the delicate shapes of dancing, winding, precariously balancing elements she arranges in varying (visual) spaces, on support media such as paper, raw cotton, or the blank wall. Her collage pieces straddle the divisions between organic and architectonic, between real and imaginative spaces, unlocking a space of associations, not unlike cloud formations in which we can identify an unending stream of shapes. Overlaying projections and colorful rugs on the existing architecture, she defamiliarizes the beholder’s experience of the space: the optical illusions of the collages extends, into the third dimension.\u003c\/p\u003e\n                                \n                \u003cp\u003e\n                                        The artist’s second monograph combines works made since 2016 with new series of graphite paintings that meld her collage technique and her expansive gestural approach.
