His latest novel is Sweet Caress (2015). Some seventeen of his screenplays have been filmed, including \u003ci\u003eThe Trench\u003c\/i\u003e (1999), which he also directed, and he is also the author of four collections of short stories: \u003ci\u003eOn the Yankee Station\u003c\/i\u003e (1981), \u003ci\u003eThe Destiny of Nathalie\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003e'X'\u003c\/i\u003e (1995), \u003ci\u003eFascination\u003c\/i\u003e (2004) and \u003ci\u003eThe Dream Lover\u003c\/i\u003e (2008).
